An open inferencing stack for persistent, reality-grounded, generative AI applications



The next meaningful layer beyond chatbots, agents, and robotic embodiment is not merely more model capability. It is sustainable inferencing: AI applications that remain useful over time because they are structured to preserve context, refresh against reality, govern reuse, and support sticky user adoption through an engaging and empowering experience.

CORE2EDGE is the name I use for an inferencing stack that emerged through more than three years of focused work using generative AI to explore change management, orchestration, adoption friction, and failure modes in complex environments. The name can change. The architectural logic is what matters.


At its core, CORE2EDGE is an effort to move beyond one-off chat interaction toward a more durable class of AI applications: systems that are not merely responsive, but persistent, reusable, bounded, evaluable, and regenerative.


I am publishing CORE2EDGE openly to invite scrutiny, dialogue, and collaboration with serious frontier model labs, infrastructure players, and design partners interested in the next generation of inferencing applications.


Why CORE2EDGE

Current AI use often stops at a familiar pattern: prompt, response, adjustment, repetition. That interaction pattern is useful, but it does not by itself produce durable inferencing systems. It tends to lose value across sessions, over-consume context, blur what should persist, and make it difficult to distinguish insight from noise.

Sustainable inferencing requires more than a capable model. It requires a credible model of use, compatible orchestration scaffolding, reliable infrastructure, and a UI/UX that helps users participate in inferencing rather than merely consume outputs.

CORE2EDGE is meant to address that gap.


What CORE2EDGE is

CORE2EDGE is a bounded regenerative inferencing stack.

It combines:

  • a structural core for context and bounds

  • an inferencing motion for transforming input into usable reasoning

  • a compressed artifact ladder for preserving reusable value

  • evaluation gates for deciding what should persist, advance, fork, or retire

  • a lightweight reality-grounding loop for keeping compressed artifacts current

  • a commit boundary for disciplined execution and regeneration

The aim is not to replace models. The aim is to help make models more usable, governable, and sustainable in persistent applications.


What CORE2EDGE contains (minima)


1. CTF — structural inferencing architecture

The Circles and Triangles Framework (CTF) provides the geometry of bounds, tensions, and context. Circles define the relevant space, limits, actors, and conditions. Triangles define the active tensions and decision structure.

This gives inferencing a stable shape rather than leaving it fully at the mercy of prompt drift.


2. DSE — inferencing motion

Distillation, Synthesis, and Extrapolation (DSE) is the movement layer of the stack.

It asks:

  • What should be reduced to essence?

  • What should be connected into working coherence?

  • What bounded possibilities should be projected forward?

This helps prevent both under-processing and ornamental over-processing.


3. COT / PIT / UVT — compressed artifact ladder

CORE2EDGE treats compressed outputs as reusable assets rather than disposable text.

  • COT captures contextual opinion or stance in a bounded way.

  • PIT tokenizes prompting insights that are worth preserving.

  • UVT packages unique reusable value in a form intended for future recall, re-use, or recombination.

This layer exists because sustainable inferencing depends on preserving signal without carrying unnecessary weight.


4. FNT-GRADE — advancement and governance gate

Not every artifact deserves persistence or reuse.

FNT-GRADE evaluates compressed artifacts so the system can better decide whether something should:

  • advance

  • persist

  • fork

  • refresh

  • deploy

  • retire

This is essential to avoid memory inflation, prestige drift, and accumulation of attractive but low-value output.


5. EDGE — economical data grounding exercise

Reality changes. Context shifts. Evidence updates.

EDGE is a lightweight grounding pass that refreshes compressed artifacts such as COTs, PITs, and UVTs against newer vetted reality without requiring full re-derivation, full-context reconstruction, or retraining.

Its role is simple: search narrowly, preserve compression, update only where reality forces change.


6. CBP-RG — commit boundary and regenerative gate

Execution should not be treated casually.

The Commit Boundary / Regenerative Gate distinguishes between:

  • what is still inferencing

  • what is ready for commitment

  • what should not yet commit and must instead regenerate into better artifacts, experiments, or bounded next steps

This helps keep inferencing disciplined, auditable, and safer to operationalize.


More CTF aligned elements can be added and the stack can be tuned to use cases.


How the stack works

A simplified view of CORE2EDGE looks like this:

Context and bounds are established through a structural core. Inferencing motion transforms raw input through distillation, synthesis, and extrapolation. Compressed artifacts preserve what is worth keeping. Evaluation gates determine what deserves persistence or advancement. Reality refresh updates valuable artifacts economically as the world changes. Commit boundaries decide whether to execute, fork, or regenerate.

In practical terms, CORE2EDGE is designed to support AI systems that do not start from scratch every time, do not retain everything blindly, and do not move into execution without discipline.


What problem this is trying to solve

CORE2EDGE is aimed at a class of problems that become visible when generative AI moves beyond novelty and into sustained use.

These include:

  • context drift across sessions

  • loss of reusable inferencing value

  • over-reliance on brute-force context expansion

  • weak governance over what should persist

  • shallow transition from reasoning into execution

  • user experiences that remain impressive but not durable

  • adoption friction when systems are powerful but not legible

The stack is especially relevant where inferencing must remain coherent across time, users, layers, or changing realities.


What CORE2EDGE is not

CORE2EDGE is not a claim that chat is obsolete. Chat remains a powerful interface.

It is not merely a workflow for chaining prompts.

It is not a substitute for model quality, training, or infrastructure.

It is not a rejection of agents, robotics, or tool use.

Instead, it is a proposal for an architectural layer that helps make those things more sustainable, more bounded, and more reusable.


Why this matters now

As AI systems become stronger, the pressure shifts from generating outputs to sustaining usefulness.

This is especially important in environments where AI may reshape labor structures, redistribute expertise, and unbundle established operating models. From the perspective of regions whose service economies may be materially affected by generative AI, the problem is not only capability. It is whether new AI systems can become sticky, credible, and genuinely generative in how they create participation and value.

CORE2EDGE comes from sustained work in that tension.

  • persistent memory / retrieval / evaluation system builders

I am not attached to the current label. I am attached to improving the underlying architecture and helping it become usable in serious systems.

My contribution is not limited to the naming of a stack.

It comes from sustained inferencing on:

  • how useful structures can emerge from repeated interaction with generative AI

My background has consistently involved finding paths through complexity to achieve intended outcomes. CORE2EDGE reflects that pattern of work.
